Photographic Services – Event Coverage

I often work with community and disability groups to provide photographic coverage where sensitivity and absolute guarantees about image retention, publication and disposal are crucial.  Typically this can be portraits or event coverage where subjects and particpants cannot be named or identified, or perhaps are not able to give permission for publication.

Recent examples include:

  • stage coverage of 'Breathe' – the dance perfromance that launched the 2012 Olympics in Weymouth
  • portraits of patients and staff at Salisbury Hospital
  • formal portraits of young people in care at celebratory events – Bournemouth Borough Council
  • formal portraits of trustees and members of Double Act
  • images illustrating interior of independent living flat run by Bournemouth Borough Council for young people in care
  • coverage of children's activities at Russell Cotes Museum, Bournemouth.

I approach these jobs with the same ethos of trust, confidentiality and sensitivity as running a project.  If you have an event that you want to document with stills or moving image, or have some other need for image making, please get in touch.
